Another difference between Classic and many of its competitors is our integration between modules. For example, from our order entry screen, you can inquire about inventory levels, customer previous orders, customer invoices, product information and much, much more right from the module you are in. Information such as the customer's last price paid, the customer's own part number and so on is always displayed on the screen as needed. Our order entry screen is truly a customer service screen. This is just a small sample of the integration available. All of our screens are integrated in a similar manner.
In addition, order entry is tied into inventory control and purchasing. The purchasing screen shows the buyer shows all ordered product either from order entry or raw goods needed in manufacturing. It then is automatically filled in on the buyer's purchasing screen. All and any additional information the buyer needs to make a purchasing decision is literally at their fingertips.
Accounting receives information both from shipping and receiving so the information on their invoices is accurate. Customer invoices are automatically created and ready to print. Vendor's invoices are automatically compared to purchase orders and analyzed for pricing discrepancies. Entering expense items is both simple and flexible.
All of our reports may be printed on the screen, on any available printer, to a spreadsheet, or word processing file. In addition, our system contains many analysis reports which give information such as return ratios, future projections report for income, manufacturing, labor and packaging, actual vs. expected report, taxes collected by jurisdiction and many more. All of our reports may be printed in full detail, summary or grand total only.
We have the capability to track all purchases and orders to meet ISO900x standards. We also have EDI capabilities and complete web, XML and E-Commerce Hub integration.
Lastly, and most importantly, our inventory control system is totally automated. People just do their jobs and the inventory is updated with quantity on hand, committed quantities and amounts on hold, amounts on purchase orders and when they are expected, amounts on work orders, historical data and more.
